Legacy Impact
A business should do more than restore vehicles.
At AUTObLAST, we believe our responsibility extends well beyond the workshop. Through our Legacy Impact programme, we invest in the people and organisations that make our community stronger – from grassroots sport to global humanitarian work. These are the partnerships we’re proud to stand behind.
Grassroots Sport
Sam Mendes – Karate New Zealand
AUTObLAST is proud to support Leo Mendes, son of Sam Mendes, who reached out on Leo’s behalf. Leo has been passionate about karate since the age of four, and through years of dedication and discipline, achieved his Nidan (second-degree black belt) at just 13 years of age. In 2024 he represented New Zealand at the 6th JKS World Karate Championships in Japan, and has since been selected to represent New Zealand again, this time competing in both Kata and Kumite. We wish Leo all the best as he continues to push himself on the world stage.
Motorsport
James Corban Racing
James Corban is building a motorsport career the right way – one championship at a time. With New Zealand racing titles already under his belt, James is working toward Formula Regional Oceania, New Zealand’s premier formula racing series.
“AUTObLAST has supported and believed in me since day one of my racing journey. Their backing helped me get on track and chase championships – and together, we’ve already won two.” James Corban
Community Leader
Mason Rumble-Simpson
AUTObLAST was honoured to support Mason Rumble-Simpson with a complimentary underbody restoration on his vehicle. Mason is a passionate community leader and advocate who invests his time and energy into empowering rangatahi, strengthening cultural identity, and creating positive pathways for young people. Through his work, he inspires others to lead with purpose, resilience, and dignity.
It’s individuals like Mason, making a meaningful difference in the lives of others and helping build stronger communities for future generations, that AUTObLAST loves to get behind.
Coastal Sport
Jet Ski Fishing
AUTObLAST is proud to support Jetskifishing.co.nz, New Zealand’s leading authority on jet ski fishing adventures, training, events, and specialist fishing equipment. Founded by Andrew Hill, the team has helped grow the sport across New Zealand for more than 15 years, enabling anglers to safely access some of the country’s most remote and productive fishing grounds. The harsh marine environment and constant exposure to saltwater place extreme demands on the vehicles and trailers used to launch and retrieve jet skis around the country. To help protect these valuable assets, AUTObLAST provides professional rust-proofing solutions designed to minimise corrosion, extend vehicle life, and keep equipment performing reliably season after season. We’re happy to play a part in keeping the Jet Ski Fishing community out on the water, wherever the next launch point may be.

Emergency Services
Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust
AUTObLAST is proud to be a corporate supporter of the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust, building on more than 23 years of support for the organisation and its lifesaving work. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, the Trust has completed more than 20,000 missions across our region.

Local Community
Life Community
AUTObLAST is proud to support Life Community and the incredible work they do to bring help and hope to people throughout New Zealand. From providing meals and food support to delivering education, employment training, social services, and residential care, Life Community helps individuals and whānau overcome challenges and build brighter futures. Their commitment to creating opportunities, strengthening communities, and empowering people to thrive aligns closely with AUTObLAST’s own values.

Global Humanitarian
World Vision
AUTObLAST is proud to partner with World Vision New Zealand and support their life changing work around the world. By sponsoring one child for every staff member in our organisation, we are helping provide access to education, healthcare, clean water, and opportunities that enable children and their communities to thrive. Through long-term community development and child-focused programmes, World Vision addresses the root causes of poverty and creates sustainable change, helping build brighter futures for generations to come.
